I will present the approach - how to build the cloud connected vehicle using open source components. The following approach will be presented:
1. Isolation between safety critical and cloud enabled SW on the vehicle by virtialization using Xen hypervisor
2. Integration with vehicle on-board computer - as an example Renesas r-Car H3 SoC, explain:resource sharing & protection, real-time scheduling and security improvements using TEE
3. Building connected framework enabling in-vehicle 3rd party services development & deployment using Docker, W3C vehicle data & control APIs
4. Building service distribution framework
