Automotive Linux Summit 2017

When considering testing nowadays in automotive environments the main focus is automation. But other factors are equally important in order to improve the quality of the Linux based platforms and, at the same time, reduce lead times.

Agustin will describe some of the main challenges when defining any testing strategy, beyond automation. He will also provide some of the principles that should guide every action, as well as the main questions to be answered, during the necessary transformation process that automotive companies will or are going through in order to take full advantage of the Open Source development model, which goes way beyond consuming FOSS and producing Linux based platforms. As conclusion, Agustin will enumerate some of the Open Source tools to be considered and why as well as some projects that could serve as reference.
